The core principle of inclined tube sedimentation tank is shallow tank theory, which improves sedimentation efficiency by increasing sedimentation area and shortening particle settling distance.The specific
process is as follows:
1. Water flow segmentation: The water flow is divided into multiple shallow
layers through inclined pipes or plates in the sedimentation zone,forming
independent sedimentation units.
2. Laminar state: The water flow velocity in the inclined tube is low, the
Reynolds number (Re) is small, and the water flow is in a laminar state,
which is conducive to particle settling.
3.Precipitation separation: Suspended particles slide down along the
inclined pipe wall to the bottom of the pool under the action of gravity, while
clean water rises to the effluent area through the inclined pipe.
